It's a pretty plain and simple gun that's why I liked it. The Japanese made over and under Charles Daly's were, I believe, made by Mirkoku,,,before Browning took over Miroku's importation of basically the same gun. The gun was the Citori.

Many different guns have been imported under ;the Charles Daly name and I do not know if all the Italian guns were as good as the one I had. It worked well and held up well for the time I had it. Yes, the Miroku 500 is a gun of good quality. The Charles Daly Miroku guns are good. My hunting buddy had a Miroku 500 in 12 gauge. Nice gun. I doubt you will find a better 20 gauge in the same price range. Parts might be a problem if it breaks. But there is little chance of that if it is treated right.Nov 10, 2003 ...
